At Tuesday night’s Shenandoah Athletics Boosters Board meeting, Booster members, coaches, and school administration met to discuss potential dates for this fall’s Meet the Team event. Every effort was made to identify a date that would accommodate all of our athletic teams and programs. Unfortunately, due to preseason schedules, competitions, and conflicts with the school calendar, we were unable to find a date that worked for everyone. After thoughtful discussion, the coaches voted by majority to forgo hosting the Meet the Team event this year. While we know this event has become a valued tradition, our focus remains on providing the best possible experience for our student-athletes throughout the year. We encourage everyone to come out, support our teams, and fill the stands this fall and throughout every athletic season.
